Green Cup Cafe

The Green Cup Cafe made its debut in the downtown Fort Myers historic district in December 2015. This little go-to definitely has the café vibe with interesting and palatable nature-given integrity food items. Located just off First and Dean Streets, the quaint spot has something for anyone looking for healthy, alternative options. Their focus is health. Most of the ingredients are locally produced. There are vegan, gluten-free and paleo menu options. The menu is extensive serving organic raw juices, whole food smoothies, organic local coffee & loose-leaf tea, natural bubble teas, acai bowls, fresh salads & wraps, raw and vegan desserts. Owner, Karolina Vaickute says she’s been a long time devotee of clean eating. ͞I’ve suffered various health problems and have observed family members do the same. I have also witnessed the transformational power of whole, unprocessed foods (paired with an active lifestyle) in alleviating or reversing acute and chronic conditions. We are products of the Earth; nature has endowed our bodies with incredible powers of self-regulation and self-healing, as long as we give them the proper elements with which to accomplish this. The closer to their natural state are the things that we put into our bodies, the healthier we are.͟Vaickute’s goal at The Green Cup Café is to provide a comfortable oasis from the hustle and bustle. Take a seat on the white leather couch, arm chair, bar stool or table and chairs. Enjoy the cozy brick exposed walls while watching foot traffic go past the window. There is also limited seating just outside the front door for casual outdoor dining. It’s simple and serviceable. Office mates and urbanites are frequent visitors for coffee, tea, espresso drinks in the morning. Pair with a bowl of homemade granola, oatmeal, quinoa topped with fresh fruit, berries.
